AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Freemans Bay-based insights agency Perceptive is celebrating being shortlisted four times in the international Market Research and Insights Excellence Awards for 2023.

The insights projects, all done in partnership with Xero, were selected as finalists the B2B Research Project category and the Global Marketing Research Project category, with two finalist projects in each category.

These projects represent two major pieces of insights work Perceptive has done for Xero’s global segmentation and brand tracking.

“Picking up two platinum awards for these projects at the 2023 NZ Research association effectiveness awards was a fantastic achievement in its own right but to also be shortlisted as a finalist in the global insights excellence awards further shows the impact of this work,” says Perceptive GM Oliver Allen.

“The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony in November.”

“It’s the culmination of years of work and innovation and is a brilliant recognition of the partnership between Perceptive and Xero.”

Powered by US-based Quirk’s Media, The Marketing Research and Insight Excellence Awards are a set of international awards that recognise the researchers, suppliers and products and services that are adding value and impact to marketing research.

Perceptive is the only New Zealand insights agency represented in the list of finalists, which also include clients such as BBC News, MailChimp, and Kraft Heinz, and agencies Opinium and Talk Shoppe.

Finalists were selected by a panel of judges made up of a combination of end-client researchers, supplier partners and Quirk’s editorial staff.

The award winners will be announced at The Marketing Research and Insight Excellence Awards Virtual Ceremony on November 14.
