AUCKLAND, Wednesday: After three years in the making, production company Reel Factory Auckland has finally settled into their new headquarters.

Executive producer Dan Watkins said: “We’ve made the move to the other side of Rosedale (North Shore for life) to our purpose-built, slice-of-production paradise.

“Our new home base has been designed to be a comfortable and collaborative space for clients, agencies and our Reel Factory family.

“Equipped with plenty of breakout areas and meeting rooms for briefings and PPMs, an open-plan 36-desk production office, a 15-seat theatre for larger viewings plus five additional offline edit suites and one of the best colour suites in town.

“One of the priorities during the design process was a new and improved bar, aptly named The Rabbit Hole for the all-important ideation sessions or to toast a job well done.

Parking?
“And did we mention the parking? There’s so much of it – 40 spots to be exact – so you never have to stress about parking your people-mover again.

“Still to come is the fitout of the ground floor factory space, which will soon house a custom-built workshop, two film studios – a 10m x 12m full cyclorama studio exclusively for our own use and a larger 20m x 15m full cyclorama studio with full facilities that will be available to the commercial industry for hire.

“We’ve come a long way from our first office a decade ago which consisted of three desks and a lounge suite, to now the largest commercial production facility in New Zealand, and (in our opinion) the slickest around!

“We can’t wait to welcome all of our partners through the doors, and would love to have you and your team out to The Rabbit Hole for a beer, wine, whisky, coffee or all of the above and a tour of the new digs ✌️
