TVNZ general manager media sales Richard Sandford is returning to client side after taking up a position with Spark: No further details were available at press time.
NZME. has inveigled Ben Gibb and Andy Wylie away from Yahoo: Gibb – who was agency sales manager at Yahoo, and before that was agency sales manager at ACP/Bauer – will take up the role of group general manager of digital sales for NZME.
Wylie is Yahoo’s ad marketplace and operations manager – at NZME. he will be heading up ad operations.
Both will be reporting to group director digital media Laura Maxwell-Hansen (herself a former general manager at Yahoo!).
Bauer Media has appointed Michael Fuyala as its new head of digital: Fuyala was previously digital publisher lifestyle at NZME. His experience includes roles at Event Cinemas, American Express, Genesis Energy and Air New Zealand.
He has formal qualifications in business, tourism, hospitality and digital marketing and he has lived and worked in both London and Croatia.
