NZ has been ranked the 14th most creative country in the world by the Directory Big Won Rankings 2014, released globally yesterday. Colenso BBDO ranked as the 13th most creative agency in the world while Colenso creative chairman Nick Worthington is ranked 7th chief creative officer.

Colenso also ranked 5th in In the Top Agencies for Direct chart. The rankings are compiled from the awards results of international, regional and local advertising awards shows.

Dentsu Tokyo was the top agency in the world across all media, plus Digital and Design.

“The Directory Big Won is a way for agencies to benchmark their performance against their competitors,” said the Directory Big Won author Patrick Collister.

“To top the report demands that an agency deliver excellence across more than just one campaign and more than just one medium. Today’s consumer interacts with media via multiple platforms. Clearly, BBDO is delivering the best work for its clients above the line, below the line, offline and online.”
