AUCKLAND, Today: Independent PR agency, Undertow Media, is thrilled to announce the addition of Ash McEnaney to their team as the new Group Account Director.

Ash joins from Thrive PR + Communications, where she led successful campaigns for global and local brands like LEGO, Airbnb, HelloFresh, SailGP, Afterpay, Pals, Allpress, and Ngāi Tahu Tourism.

Before her time at Thrive, Ash honed her writing skills and editorial eye as Assistant Editor at Woman’s Day, playing a key role in shaping the magazine’s content and voice.

At Undertow Media, Ash will champion new accounts such as Crocs, MOTAT, and TrailLite, while also managing the long-standing client, Logitech.

“I’ve long admired Undertow Media for their innovative and high-impact work. I’m joining the team at an exciting time, with a growing roster of ambitious clients and exciting projects. With their stellar industry reputation, I couldn’t be more thrilled to make good things happen with this brilliant bunch,” Ash said.

Greer Bland, Founder & Managing Director of Undertow Media, expressed enthusiasm about Ash’s appointment, rounding out their management team of four. “We had a long courting period with Ash, so I’m beyond stoked to have her finally in the fold.

Not only is she incredibly cool, clever, and connected, Ash has an innate understanding of what makes the media tick. She’s all about storytelling that sticks and has already hit the ground running with many media wins.

As a key member of our management team, we’re thrilled to learn she is also incredibly process-driven – something we shamelessly geek out on as an agency.”

Now in its eleventh year, Undertow Media counts multinationals like Woolworths, Freightways, and Fujifilm as key clients, alongside fan favourites like Pic’s, Proper Crisps, and Bondi Sands.
