AUCKLAND, Friday: DDB Aotearoa and The Warehouse have teamed up to bring us Allie the Alien! Allie is here to promote The Warehouse’s annual Mega Toy Sale.
To promote The Warehouse’s annual Mega Toy Sale, they created Allie, an alien who loves toys but dislikes humans.
Allie’s animated journey begins with a crash landing through The Warehouse’s roof, where Allie discovers a treasure trove of toys. Everything is great until Allie encounters a terrifying human.
This led to The Warehouse’s hide and seek promotion, inviting kids to find Allie in-store and win special prizes.

As Allie runs from the human, the audience experiences the joy of discovering toys through alien eyes, adding magic to The Warehouse’s toy aisles.

“We’ve been blown away by how quickly Allie has become a family favourite. Kiwi kiddos and families have been absolutely starstruck by Allie’s out-of-this-world cuteness.”
The hunt for Allie added excitement for consumers, who came for the Mega Toy Sale and the fun of finding Allie. Kids and adults might not squeeze the red furry alien, but they can find an in-store cut-out of Allie.
The Warehouse hopes Allie’s introduction will keep them a top toy destination for Kiwi kids throughout Aotearoa.
