AUCKLAND, Today: NZME is teaming up with ANZ for a special Daffodil Day event on Friday, 30 August. The live broadcast will feature star-studded music performances, guest appearances, and fundraising for the Cancer Society.

ZM hosts Carl Fletcher, Vaughan Smith, Hayley Sproull, Georgia Burt, Bree Tomasel, and Clint Roberts will emcee the event, held at NZME’s Auckland HQ. The entire show will be broadcast live on-air and online via ZM and iHeartRadio.

The lineup includes Jeremy Wells, Hilary Barry, Jono Pryor, Ben Boyce, Megan Papas, Toni Street, and Sam Wallace. Performances by Cassie Henderson and Jon Toogood will entertain throughout the day.

Leading up to the big day, NZME stations have been running telethon-style challenges to inspire early donations. The Hits’ Matty McLean and PJ Harding could take an icy dip, while Flava’s hosts might run a kilometre for every thousand dollars raised.
