D&AD offers free access to inspire the next generation of creatives

LONDON, Today: D&AD, known globally for celebrating creative excellence, is offering its coveted Annual for free as part of its mission to support creativity across diverse communities.

The D&AD Annual showcases the insights, strategies, and campaigns that drove the best work at the 2024 D&AD Awards. It also includes the D&AD Trend Report, which explores key themes from the Annual and their potential influence on the future.

The Annual delves into award-winning campaigns across 32 categories, providing insider perspectives from creatives behind the work. Judged by over 300 top designers and advertising professionals, the D&AD Awards are a prestigious highlight of the creative calendar.

Featured work includes how conspiracy theories were leveraged to make skincare brand CeraVe go viral, Channel 4’s vignettes of British life, and Apple’s use of glass transparency in designing Vision OS. The Annual covers all shortlisted and winning projects from 2024.

Additionally, D&AD Voices offers fresh perspectives on the themes in the winning work, such as women’s football, branding cultural institutions, and climate advertising. The D&AD Annual is available online, with creative design by Studio Dumbar.

Supporting this, the 2024 D&AD Trend Report, developed with The Thought Partnership, examines standout trends identified from over 12,000 entries judged by leading creatives worldwide. The report identifies six trends for the creative industry to embrace, including “Fandoms: Nurturing the Niche” and “Type Against Homogeny.”
