AUCKLAND, Today: The 2degrees Data Piñata is back for its third year, and this time, it’s bigger, groovier, and ready to turn your summer into a free data celebration.
After nearly 10 million plays and 5 million hours of free data claimed, TBWA\NZ is making it even easier for Kiwis to join the fun. The interactive AR-powered piñatas are ready to bring even more chances to win.
This summer, 22 new party piñatas will pop up across New Zealand, inviting Kiwis to turn their holiday spots into Data Piñata Parties. Each piñata has its own dance move and data prize, making it a full-on digital dance party.

This year’s campaign brings exciting twists, like the Sammy Sung piñata offering Samsung prizes and Bargaiñata hiding out at The Warehouse. There’s something for everyone, making it a nationwide celebration.
The fun doesn’t stop there. The Data Piñata Party will be featured in outdoor ads, TikTok feeds, on the airwaves, and even with Piñata Dance Cams at NZ Breakers games.
