AUCKLAND, Today: UnLtd, Aotearoa’s social purpose organisation for the media, marketing, creative, and tech industries, is gearing up to relaunch its annual Big Clash cricket event.

This year, UnLtd is partnering with the Kindness Collective to hit a home run for charity. Their 2025 goal? To donate 1,000 pairs of pyjamas through the PJ Project, keeping kids across the motu cozy all winter.

Penelope Brown, Chair of UnLtd Aotearoa Advisory Board, shared, “We are setting a very tangible Big Clash goal for our industry, to provide 1,000 pairs of pyjamas to the PJ Project.

“This is more than just a game; it’s a chance for our industry to come together, showcase our competitive spirit, and create meaningful impact. When UnLtd Aotearoa launched, we all got behind the idea of uniting for good.

“We are thrilled to reinvigorate the annual Big Clash cricket event with a renewed sense of purpose. By batting and bowling for good, we can make a difference and have a lot of fun doing it!”

The event is set for 20 March, where industry leaders will clash on the cricket field for the coveted trophy. Leading the charge are Nicky Greville from Spark Foundry NZ and Matt Dickinson from True.

Expect a day filled with fierce competition, live music from Drop Social, delicious food, drinks, and fundraising games. All proceeds from the fundraising on the day will support the PJ Project by Kindness Collective, helping ensure no child goes cold this winter.

Simon Lendrum, Board Member of UnLtd Aotearoa, noted, “With this year’s Big Clash, we wanted to infuse the event with even more purpose while keeping the fun and camaraderie that make it so special. It’s about coming together as an industry, connecting, and making a positive impact.”
