Morgan Penn returns to MediaWorks: TRB content & communications project manager Morgan Penn is leaving to join MediaWorks in a role that will see her working in integration across the group, servicing agencies.
She joins MediaWorks next Monday 13th – but says she will continue to be involved with the ORCAs. “I’ll continue working on big industry projects to see them through to the end – Grande ORCAs, Radio Awards, Radio Rewired and the Radio show,” she said.
“MediaWorks is actually where I started my radio career when I was 18 so it’s nice to return back to the whanau after 10 years.”
Penn’s departure follows that of TRB general manager Gill Stewart, who left in February for parts unknown.
TRB has yet to announce its plans for replacements for both roles.
Marketing Association taps Lance Walker: The Marketing Association has appointed Cigna Life Insurance ceo Lance Walker as its new chair, taking up the position vacated by the retiring Debra Hall.
Walker was appointed to the Cigna role last year. Before that, he was Loyalty New Zealand for five years, three as ceo. In 2003, with Robert Limb, he set up Limb Walker Partners (later acquired by DDB and rebranded as RAPP.
The MA continues to look for a new ceo, following the resignation last month of Michael Pryor.
