Alphero and 2degrees Mobile win design honours in Sydney

The winners of Australia’s Good Design Awards, the highest honour for design innovation in Australia, have been announced at the Sydney Opera House at the 60th Annual Good Design Awards Ceremony.

Wellington-based digital strategy & design firm Alphero, and 2degrees Mobile, won a Good Design Award in the Digital Design category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.

“We know how important the app is to our customers who manage their lives on the go,” said 2degrees chief digital officer Greg Moore.


“Clean, clear, friendly and on-brand design. A well-executed project and sterling example of good design in practice.”


“They can track their use and top up, add roaming packs or pay their bill when it suits them. We’re chuffed the design elements of it have been given this accolade.”

Alphero director of digital strategy Caroline Dewe said: “This work is really indicative of the digital change that’s going on in the broader market”

The Good Design Awards jury said the NZ work was “Clean, clear, friendly and on-brand design. This is a well-executed project and sterling example of good design in practice. Well done.”

Alphero was also acknowledged for their work with collected awards for the MetService, and Westpac bank.
