St John taps MediaWorks exec: MediaWorks group head of communications Rachel Lorimer has resigned to take up the role of head of communications with St John.
“I am very excited about the new job,” she told M+AD. “St John is a fantastic organisation, and obviously plays an essential role in the heathcare sector
“I’ve had a good run with MediaWorks and think highly of the team here, but after four years, it is time for a change and this is a very positive career move.”
MediaWorks has yet to make an announcement of a replacement.
CanTeen taps filmmaker: Film Construction managing director Bruce Pilbrow has been appointed ceo at cancer charity CanTeen.
“I am extremely excited to lead an iconic and amazing brand that makes such a significant difference in the lives of young adults who face the realities of cancer daily,” he says.
He replaces David Pearce, who leaves CanTeen after seven years in the role. Film Construction has yet to make an announcement about Pilbrow’s successor.
Pilbrow has a long history working with community groups – including Zeal, The Parenting Place, Quantum Sport, NZ Families Commission (deputy chief commissioner), and Rhema Christian radio network.
