Hypermedia finally replaces outgoing GM: Instore ad shop Hypermedia recently appointed Belinda Freeman as ceo, replacing general manager Jonathan Symons, who left earlier in the year to become data & insights manager at TVNZ.
Freeman is a Kiwi who’s ex Nielsen NZ, and Nielsen UK.
The Sweet Shop has signed NZ film and video director Campbell Hooper to its roster: He joins after seven years at the head of music video outfit Special Problems, where he worked alongside long-term collaborator Joel Kefali.
Hooper’s decision to go it alone as a filmmaker immediately saw him taste success with his short film 43000 Feet playing at global festivals (including Tribeca) and picking up a Staff Pick on Vimeo.
Elam-trained Hooper and partner Joel Kefali crafted distinctive promos for Kimbra, Gin Wigmore and Brooke Fraser, and videos for The Naked & Famous and Little Daylight. Hoope himself has directed commercial work for Ubiquiti, Ford and Leggo.
