Nick Paschalis has joined online display advertising technology shop Acquire Online Auckland as an agency sales director after a 5 1/2 year innings with Yahoo as head of direct sales.
He was responsible for achieving double digits YOY growth at Yahoo, and has previously held positions with MediaOne, Health TV and Fairfax Media.
“Acquire Online is thrilled to have Nick on board to cement our agency relationships,” says programmatic director Zane Furtado.
Acquire Online is a pioneer of online display advertising in NZ. “We lead moment marketing and the automation of display, video, mobile and social advertising using programmatic, intelligent learning technologies,” Furtado said.

Ciara McGuigan joins MediaWorks as CFO
MediaWorks has appointed Ciara McGuigan to the role of chief financial officer, overseeing financial operations across the group’s television, radio and digital assets.

McGuigan has 20 years of international finance management experience across the telecommunications and retail sectors in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand.
Prior to joining MediaWorks, she worked for Vodafone for nine years, most recently as chief financial officer for Vodafone New Zealand having joined the NZ team in 2013. Prior to her CFO role, she was head of financial planning & analysis in NZ.

After a three month search, Spark has appointed Sarah Williams as head of brand, communications & experience.
She’s ex BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi, and has spent nearly 20 years working in the industry on ASB, BNZ, 2degrees and (earlier) Telecom.
This is her first gig working client-side.
