Sydney-based APAC-wide mobile marketing agency Big Mobile Group has appointed co-founder Graham Christie to the additional role of group ceo.
“The company is making significant investments in technologies and people, regional expansion, and a restructure – all focused to sustain the companies accelerated growth over the next three years,” Christie said in a release.
“With the Asia-Pacific region now the world’s biggest mobile advertising marketplace, and mobile’s share of all internet traffic now over 30%, we need to calibrate the company to focus on the big growth generators, for us,” he said.
“That’s data leadership, restless product innovation, and new key appointments where it matters.”
Those key appointments include June Cheung being promoted from NSW sales manager to ANZ sales director, and Andrew O’Shea promoted from director of partnerships & programmatic to commercial director, responsible for sales and partnerships across the group.
“June and Andrew will become familiar faces in Auckland and Wellington agencies over the next year,” Christie said.
The changes see outgoing ceo David Green, and CFO Richard Leifer assume executive chairman, and executive director roles respectively.
