NZME announced today that Mike Lane will be joining the NZME Content team in the newly created role of content director – Radio Hauraki and The ACC (Alternative Commentary Collective).
Lane is moving from his role as NZME group creative head, and says he is looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges.
“Hauraki and The Alternative Commentary Collective are two brands that I hold very close to my heart,” he said. “Now I get a chance to hold them a little closer and kiss them goodnight everyday.”
NZME group entertainment director Dean Buchanan says he’s thrilled to have Lane in the team.
“Mike is the driving force behind the success of the ACC and has been a major contributor to the NZME Group Creative team. Mike will continue to work with our creative teams on exceptional content opportunities for our clients and I’m rapt that we have someone of his calibre to lead the Radio Hauraki team day to day.”
Lane commences his new role on Monday 16 January 16, and recruitment has commenced for his replacement in Group Creative.
