Business telecommunications provider Kordia has appointed seasoned executive Craig Williams to the position of Director of Sales & Marketing.
Kordia ceo Scott Bartlett says Williams’ role will be to continue to build Kordia’s reach “through a sharp focus on its target markets”.
Williams has over 20 years of leadership expertise across retail, telco and the technology industries.
His experience includes two and half years leading the business division at Canon NZ, seven years as general manager at Vodafone subsidiary Digital Mobile and a director for several NZ businesses.
“Bringing someone with Craig’s profile and experience on board is a strategic move which will further allow Kordia to exceed its core metrics,” Bartlett said. “I’m delighted to welcome Craig to the team.
“As a company firmly positioned as New Zealand’s leading provider of mission-critical technology, his proven expertise will deliver a further boost in growth performance on top of the compound annual growth rate of 16% achieved since 2012.”
H says Williams will work closely alongside Kordia’s executive team as he expands the company’s presence in specialist markets and industries, including telecommunications, cyber security, media and maritime services.
He is responsible for building Kordia’s reseller channel to expand its reach, as well as its direct business. As the leader of the sales and marketing function, he will build the brand, grow the product offering and continue the service Kordia is known for.
Craig Williams said: “Coming in to a company which has established much of the groundwork necessary to support aggressive growth is an exciting prospect.
“There is a solid value proposition with proven appeal to NZ businesses, an established track record and substantial prospects in the market. I’m looking forward to driving results.”
