On the back of several nice new business wins, Freemans Bay boutique full-service PR/content agency Lily & Louis has hired two senior journalists – Golnaz Bassam-Tabar and Courtney Joe. Golnaz comes from a journalism background, while Joe worked previously for Karen Walker.
They’ll work on the agency’s roster of leading consumer brands – now boosted by the signing of the Skin Institute, along with Central Otago’s boutique estate Mount Michael Wines, New York Sal’s Pizza, car rental company Europcar; and Canadian designer/artist Sid Dickens.
Golnaz Bassam-Tabar has an extensive journalism background, spanning print, radio and television, for over a decade. She has reported from hotspots around the world including the Middle East and has worked as a foreign correspondent for an international news network in Australia. Golnaz is a well-regarded media analyst on international politics and a regular commentator on Radio New Zealand’s The Panel, with Jim Mora.
Courtney Joe joins Lily and Louis from communication roles at Karen Walker, DNA and Yu Mei. She leads the fashion team and brings a wealth of digital, social, content and project management skills. Courtney has an eye for detail and is always on the lookout for the next big thing.
“It’s an exciting time for Lily & Louis,” managing partner Jacqui Ansin said. “Adding new clients to our portfolio means we get to build the capability and bring in talented and creative people to do brilliant work.”
