Tangible Media NZ Marketing/StopPress ed Damien Venuto has departed – to join NZME as online business editor. StopPress deputy ed Erin McKenzie has now stepped into the editor’s role.
Venuto has a broad range of both commercial and editorial writing experience, starting at Marketing as a journalist, before progressing to editor.
He was named the Supreme Editor of the Year in the 2017 Magazine Awards.
“I’m really looking forward to taking the next step in my career, as I join the team of brilliant journos at NZME,” Venuto said in a release. “I’m really looking forward to working alongside business editor Hamish Fletcher and the rest of the business team in 2018.”
Venuto commenced his new role on 18 December.
