Busy days at Snakk: NZAX-listed mobile advertising company Snakk Media has announced that its hired its first Creative Director. Carlos Guedes will be based in Sydney, but will actively service Snakk customers in NZ.

CAANZ has appointed two new members to its executive board: DDB ceo Justin Mowday, and Copper Brand Experiences’ Megan Clark.

OMD & Total Media trading director Andy Taylor has resigned to relocate to Sydney to take up a similar role at Starcom Australia. Taylor has been at the Auckland agencies since 2012. Before that, he spent five years at Aegis UK.

Tom Cotter has been appointed to the newly created role of CIPO (Chief Information & Product Officer) for MediaWorks. The role is part of a new service delivery structure that combines both technology operations and technology product development into one department.

NZME (formerly APN/TRN) has appointed Michael Boggs as its new Chief Financial Officer: Boggs comes to NZME from Tower where for the last four years he managed the Tower Group’s multi-billion dollar assets, take executive accountability for Tower’s Pacific Islands operations and play a leading role in Tower’s earthquake recovery programme.

DB Breweries has appointed Amber McEwen as its external relations manager. She’s recently returned from South East Asia, and is ex Fairfax Media (comms manager), TBWA NZ’s Eleven PR (GAD), and PPR.

Liz Fraser has been appointed to a Group Executive role as Group Head of Revenue for MediaWorks. The new role is charged with growing group revenue, and creates a single interface for customers across MediaWorks’ range of assets; television, radio, digital, social, product integration and sponsorships.

MediaWorks Radio has appointed Leon Wratt as group content director – music: In this new role, he will be responsible for the company’s music brands, The Edge, The Rock, More FM, The Breeze, The Sound, Mai FM, Kiwi FM, George, Coromandel FM, Radio Dunedin and Times FM.

South African director – now new Aussie – JH Beetge has joined Goodoil Films Sydney: “JH is becoming increasingly well known for his strong visual narrative and emotive storytelling,” Goodoil EP Sam Long told Campaign Brief Australia. “He’s a director to watch.”
