CHRISTCHURCH, Today: Nick Harvey has joined Plato Creative as a partner, adding 18 years of international advertising experience and problem solving firepower to the independent Christchurch agency’s lineup of talent.

AUCKLAND, Tuesday: Deloitte Digital Creative NZ has signed internationally awarded creative director Thom Darlow, from Colenso BBDO (where he was a CD). He’s also worked previously for R/GA New York and TBWA\ Auckland.

AUCKLAND, Today: DDB Aotearoa NZ has made further appointments to its strategy team. Josh Watson joins the Auckland-based team as planner and Shivani Narsai as junior planner.

AUCKLAND, Today: Mango Aotearoa has appointed three new team members, with the addition of an experienced digital content specialist and two account coordinators.

AUCKLAND, Today: media trading executive Dale Cummings is set to join oOh!media NZ as trading manager, commencing on Monday. He replaces Christie Tanner (who departed at the end of the year; destination unknown) and will work with group commercial sales director Phil Lucy and the NZ management team.

AUCKLAND, Wednesday: DDB Aotearoa NZ has promoted Nikki McKelvie to managing director. She replaces Chris Willingham, who left the ad sector in June last year to become CMO of Australian footwear & clothing maker R.M.Williams.

AUCKLAND, Today: School Road Publishing has enlisted Lisa Hay as head of commercial. Hay was GM of Pumpt Agency, a boutique North Shore shop specialising in DM, flyer & catalogue design.

AUCKLAND, Today: US comedy director Andrew Laurich, currently a resident of Auckland, has joined the Fish&Clips New Zealand roster for commercial work in the antipodes.
