Talent & voice agency Auckland Actors has linked with emerging music industry player The Platform to provide a one-stop shop for music and talent. Auckland Actors retains its identity and name, as does The Platform. (Just sleeping together, you might say.)
“The next few months will bring with them a revamp of Auckland Actors’ voice department, the creation of a social media division and the introduction of pre-cleared, directly downloadable library music on The Platform’s site,” said Auckland Actors owner Graham Dunster.
The Platform’s Jocelyn Chignell-Stapleton said: “The Platform may be a young player in the music industry at just under a year old, but waves are certainly being made by our mission to simplify working with music, whilst allowing artists to hold onto their own rights.
“The Platform is all about making music more accessible, whether it’s licensing a track, getting something composed or booking/working with artists. Translation: easier and more flexible.”
Auckland Actors has worked with ad agencies for 25 years; their roster includes internationally acclaimed names like Lucy Lawless and Antony Starr, plus a large number of professional commercial voices and actors.
