AUCKLAND, Today: Auckland Transport’s diving into a fresh venture with Sea Life Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium to boost rides and hook up customers with discounts. Right now, AT users can snag cut-price entry to the aquarium. They’re also sprucing up Auckland’s buses with aquatic adverts, testing out this new collab.

“We are hoping this will be the first of many commercial partnerships, promoting Auckland attractions accessible by public transport, to residents and visitors in the city,” says Simon Soulsby from AT.

Looks like buses are turning into moving billboards to spotlight tourist spots while rewarding public transport fans with treats. And guess what? Sea Life Kelly Tarlton’s is perfect for this, with a handy bus stop right outside.

“This high visibility and reach offered by moving billboards, such as buses, is a great way for our tourism operators to promote themselves and AT can reward public transport users for their loyalty with discounts, prizes or special offers.”

“This high visibility and reach offered by moving billboards, such as buses, is a great way for our tourism operators to promote themselves.”

The AT creative squad is all over this, making ads that catch your eye without breaking the bank, making a swap deal sweet for businesses.

“We are so fortunate to have such a high calibre of creative talent in our department and the experience to know what works on our available assets,” beams Creative@AT’s Chris Swift.

The campaign’s got some sea-inspired flair, thanks to a creative dive into the aquarium by James Bowman and Craig Love. Expect dramatic sea creature snaps and easy-breezy travel taglines on buses.

AT’s not stopping here – they’re planning to broaden their loyalty perks with various partners, aiming to draw new faces to buses, trains, and ferries.

“Now is a great time to consider what a partnership with AT could mean for you and your business,” suggests Simon.

And, for a visual treat, the Sea Life Kelly Tarlton’s ads are cruising around Auckland on buses till 30 May.
