Nadia Lim – celebrity cook, qualified dietitian, entrepreneur and mother – can now add publishing to her growing list of achievements with the launch of her new magazine, Nadia, which hits all magazine retailers today.

Nadia is a bi-monthly lifestyle magazine published by Bauer Media NZ taking readers inside the world of the multitalented and engaging Ms Lim, with a focus is on healthy and happy living organised into six key pillars: Food, Wellbeing, Fast & Fresh (quick recipes, meal planners, tips and shortcuts), Community, People & Entrepreneurs and Adventure.

The content reflects Lim’s ‘nude food’ philosophy (“eat real food that comes from the ground, sea and sky”) and core values around living a balanced life that embraces the simple pleasures of good food, family, nature, creativity and connection.

At the heart of the magazine is a wide range of her recipes, covering everything from family-friendly meals to healthy snacks and special-occasion dining. “In every issue you’ll also find inspiring profiles, from artisanal food producers to like-minded businesses, plus a special section where Nadia’s community of fans can share their stories and advice,” says publisher Brendon Hill.

“For some time we have wanted to launch a unique brand that encompasses New Zealanders’ passion for living a healthy, sustainable, and well-rounded lifestyle,” Hill said.

“Nadia Lim embodies these values, is one of New Zealand’s most influential people, yet completely down to earth and accessible. Her community of fans adore her and her massive digital reach puts the magazine in an enviable launch position.

Lim will be editor-at-large. “This magazine is a thrilling new step for me and I’m looking forward to working with the Bauer team and award winning editor Shelley Ferguson,” Lim said. “I’m really passionate about it because it’s packed with everything that is important to me – eating fresh and local, embracing family, culture and the community, and doing it all with a positive outlook on life.”

Nadia (which retails for $7.99) has an integrated brand presence with a website, video content, digital editions of the magazine, and social media channels.
