AUCKLAND, Today: Binance, the largest crypto exchange by trading volume, is taking pizza to the moon for Bitcoin Pizza Day. They serve 190 million users across 100 countries.
Over 6 days, Binance will distribute over 5,000 pizzas globally. This effort aims to reach consumers worldwide, celebrating Bitcoin Pizza Day.
From May 17 to May 22, there will be activations in iconic locations. Expect in-person pizza parties, custom Binance-branded pizza vans, and notable crypto community members delivering pizza on Binance scooters.
In New Zealand, Binance is hosting a Pizza Party at Dante’s Pizzeria in Takapuna, Auckland. Attendees can win exclusive prizes and connect with other crypto enthusiasts over wood-fired sourdough pizza.
“Through initiatives like this, we’re not only celebrating the real-world utility of cryptocurrency but also catering to the needs of our busy trading community.”
Rachel Conlan, Binance’s CMO, emphasised Bitcoin Pizza Day’s significance. She remarked, “Understanding the demands on our users and traders is paramount to us, so that’s why, knowing how busy they are, we aim to bring the celebration right to their doorstep.”
“Through initiatives like this, we’re not only celebrating the real-world utility of cryptocurrency but also catering to the needs of our busy trading community,” Conlan added.
Bitcoin Pizza Day activations will occur in 20 countries across 5 continents. This includes Asia, Africa, South America, Europe, and Australia, even meeting traders at their desks where possible.
Attendees at the events can win exclusive Binance swag by completing events and games like Binance Topping Toss, Token Twister, and The BTD (Buy The Dip) Limbo Bar. Prizes are based on the number of events completed.
