AUCKLAND, Wednesday: oOh!media New Zealand, Denstu Creative, OMD and Qantas have come together to bring a slice of the Big Apple to the streets of Aotearoa with a first-of-its-kind special build.
The campaign highlights Qantas Airline’s new direct flights from Auckland to New York City, operating four times a week on a state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
oOh!media NZ national sales director Mark Banbrook said “oOh! Studio worked closely with Qantas and Dentsu Creative to concept up and recreate the feeling of being high up on a Skydeck in New York City, overlooking the beautiful cityscape through special build installations around the country.
“Creating a build that incorporates roof extensions, large format wraps and binoculars has never been done before, so this was a very special one.”
“In addition to the bird’s-eye view of Manhattan, commuters are able to look into a pair of binoculars and explore the many boroughs of the city in detail, just as they would if they were at the top of the Empire State building.
“It is always exciting for the oOh! Studio team to showcase their creative offerings in a way that is engaging and can provide our commuters with a unique and engaging experience.

The oOh! shelters are live in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
