NZME has made changes to the structure of its agency team, after head of agency Matt Headland took up the chief commercial officer role.
Chris Rudd has moved into the new role of audience team lead/agency, running the day-to-day business of the Auckland-based agency team. He also joins the senior leadership and commercial teams.
Rudd has worked across the media industry for over 20 years, holding roles with ACP Magazines (including head of key accounts) before moving to APN Media as a sales consultant in 2011. At NZME he has been instrumental in growing revenue across the total audience portfolio.
Paul Hancox has stepped into a new role – head of agency, enterprise, strategy & planning. He will continue his work with commercial partnerships and key customer acquisition, and will head up the commercial strategy & planning team led by Fiona Hamilton (who will report to Hancox).
Hancox began his career at TRN as sales manager at Radio Sport. After an eight-year tenure he moved to MediaWorks in 2007, working in a range of responsibilities and roles before he returned to NZME to take up the newly created position of head of enterprise in July this year.
