SINGAPORE, Today: Hearts & Science has a new leader for APAC! Rochelle Chhaya steps up as the first CEO of the network in the region, bringing over 14 years of experience with Omnicom Media Group (OMG). Recently, she’s been at the helm of OMG Thailand, where she’ll continue her role until a successor is found.

Under her leadership, Chhaya will spearhead the growth of Hearts & Science across APAC. Since its 2019 debut in Australia and New Zealand, the brand has been gaining traction, attracting top global and regional brands like Jaguar Land Rover and Bank of New Zealand.

“Expanding the Hearts & Science footprint across a region that is an epicentre for economic expansion, technological innovation, and digital commerce demands a seasoned leader who possesses operational experience with a deep understanding of the modern consumer’s priorities and behaviours.

“Combined with the digital and data expertise needed to help brands effectively engage with their customers across an increasingly complex media ecosystem, we have found that leader in Rochelle, someone who can bring both the ‘heart’ and the ‘science’ to the business,” says OMG APAC CEO Tony Harradine.

Since taking charge as CEO of OMG Thailand in 2020, Chhaya has guided the group to impressive growth, with a 58% increase in billings over three years. Her earlier roles at OMD APAC and OMG Thailand helped shape a digitally-forward, data-centric agency landscape across the region.

“Asia Pacific is brimming with opportunities, and we are committed to harnessing the strong demand for consultative, modular media strategies that align with our clients’ evolving needs.

“By going beyond traditional media KPIs and fostering strategic partnerships, we’re continuously refining our offerings to create meaningful impact. Together with our clients, we will unlock new possibilities for driving brand growth across the region.”

In one of her first acts as APAC CEO, Chhaya will launch operations in Malaysia and Taiwan by early 2025. Her direct report to Harradine marks a significant step in her career and for OMG’s strategy in Asia.
