MELBOURNE, Monday: Clemenger Group New Zealand ceo Jim Gall is moving back to Australia to become ceo of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne Group.
The NZ arm of the group has yet to make any kind of announcement – either about Gall’s departure, or his possible replacement (our source was Mumbrella Australia – scroll down).
The appointment follows the exit of Clemenger Melbourne ceo Gayle While, who returns to the UK after four years with the agency.
“Gall will also remain chairman of the Clemenger Group New Zealand.”
Gall joined Clemenger NZ in 2013, when his agency, Redhanded Communications, was acquired by the group.
Gall’s remit will now include Clemenger BBDO Melbourne Group’s advertising, digital consulting, web development, e-commerce, mar-tech, production and activation units.
He will also remain chairman of the Clemenger Group New Zealand.
