Just one week till the doors open at the region’s most prestigious creative advertising show – the Spikes Asia, to be held again this year in Singapore. The festival runs Wednesday-Friday 27-29 September.
NZ will be represented by four jury members: Y&R ANZ ceo Josh Moore (president of the Outdoor & Radio juries), Mango GM Sean Brown (PR jury), Colenso CD Kim Pick (who will sit on three juries – Film, Print & Publishing, and Outdoor Craft), and Detsu Aegis NZ group head of strategy Jacquie Bennett (Media jury).
The four Kiwis will join 98 jury members from 17 countries who will judge entries from across the Asia Pacific region (40% of whom will be female).
Marco Klijn, ringmaster at Cirkus Animation NZ, is a keynote speaker. The others are Matt Eastwood (JWT New York), Nick Garrett (Clemenger BBDO Melbourne), Peer Grasse (Dictionary Films Tokyo), Terry Savage (Cannes Lions), and Mark Tutssell (Leo Burnett Worldwide).
The Legendary Spikes Asia Party
Back again this year is the Legendary Spikes Asia Party brought to you by Song Zu, Fin Design + Effects, Arcade, The Prosecution Film Company, Tiger Beer and Campaign Brief Asia.
All Spikes Asia delegates and visitors from NZ are invited to the party at GEM Bar in Chinatown on the opening night (Wednesday 27th).
