Curious Film and Clemenger Wellington have won three Golds at the annual ANDY Awards in New York. All three came in the Film and Television categories for their work targeting Maori drug-drivers on the viral video Blazed, directed for the New Zealand Transport Agency by Taika Waititi. The ANDYS aim to reward creative excellence in global advertising.
This year’s awards were positioned on Bravery, celebrating (says ANDY in a winners release): “Bold, courageous and inventive cases of bravery in the industry today and over the past five decades.
In 2014, the ANDY Awards particularly recognised noteworthy talent who are at the forefront of digital and technology, and at the helm of the advertising business.” MA+D says: “This was indeed a brave ad. Brilliant work. Well done, Curious and Clemenger.”
