Kiwi producer Kate Roydhouse (an Elam grad who early in her career worked as an account manager at .99 Auckland) has returned from London and stepped into the role of managing director and executive producer at Curious Film Auckland.
Kate has been casually killing it in London for the last few years most recently as head of production at SJR & Colloquial (WPP) throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa drawing on her wealth of experience across advertising, marketing and communications on global brands.,” said Auckland-based Curious executive producer Matt Noonan.
“Having worked in Soho and Knightsbridge, she’s been at the forefront of the changing landscape of advertising and production and recognises the necessity for change.
“It’s the perfect fit for me, there couldn’t be a better time to come back to NZ and put into practice my international experience and ideas.”
“When I returned from London and setup Curious, we really disrupted the establishment at that time,” Noonan said. “Kate has been at the leading edge of recent changes in advertising and production in the UK. I’m really excited about her ideas and the potential here to produce great work in new ways.”
