LONDON, Jan 1: Colenso BBDO chief creative officer Levi Slavin (the first and only NZ-based adman to win a Black Pencil) has been appointed as the president of the Radio & Audio jury at the D&AD Awards 2020.

Australia-born Levi returned to New Zealand just over two years ago after a spell at BBDO New York, where he created several ground-breaking pieces of work, including GE’s The Message Podcast.

He will be leading the judging panel for the Radio & Audio category.

‘Hats off’
“This is an extraordinary honour. To be asked to lead a jury is truly a career highlight. I look forward to working with the world’s best thinkers to celebrate the world’s best work.”

Colenso MD Scott Coldham said: I’m thrilled for Levi to be appointed. It’s an honour reserved for the industry’s most revered. Hats off.”
