AUCKLAND, Today: DHL Express is backing its three-year partnership with Surf Life Saving NZ with an interactive digital puzzle based on a Kiwi childhood favourite, Spot the Danger, created in PR and digital media by Kingsland-based agency Darkhorse.

The digital campaign, which runs to this Monday March 11, encourages Kiwis to spot common beach hazards from a busy beach scene.

Participants who are successful enter a draw, and one will win a cash prize of $5000 and share it equally with a NZ Surf Life Saving Club of their choice.

DHL Express New Zealand manager Mark Foy, said, “We are thrilled to announce an extension of our partnership with SLSNZ, to continue supporting a valuable cause to our community.

“Educating Kiwis on SLSNZ’s beach safety is imperative, and engaging them via this interactive digital game is an interesting approach which not only delivers the key message but also provides the opportunity for one lucky Kiwi to support their local Surf Life Saving Club.”

Surf Lifesaving NZ ceo Paul Dalton said, “For 15 years, DHL Express’ support has helped to provide safer beaches for Kiwis and their families to enjoy, and we are delighted to continue this partnership.”

“The winner will be announced on the website next Wednesday 13 March.”
