Darkhorse wins King Living pitch (Updated)

AUCKLAND, Today: Queenstown/Auckland-based PR agency Darkhorse has retained the New Zealand account for luxury Australian furniture brand King Living, after a pitch.

The incumbent was Hustle & Bustle PR Auckland.

Darkhorse will handle the local communications strategy for King Living that will include media relations, campaign development and execution, VIP customer and showroom events as well as an influencer outreach programme.

Established in Sydney, King Living operates across New Zealand and Asia, specialising in steel-based furniture. It was founded by David King and his mother in 1997, and now celebrates over 40 years of creating comfortable and timeless modular furniture.

Key areas of focus for Darkhorse will be to generate awareness of King Living’s bespoke offering and increase engagement around key product launches.

King Living’s Sydney-based global marketing manager Harry Bolanakis said: “We have a clear focus on the premium market and part of Darkhorse’s role will be to help strengthen King Living’s presence and reputation as a leader in contemporary furniture design within New Zealand.”
