Daylight co-founder Duncan Greive said: “Founded in 2021, Daylight has rapidly grown, developing a unique offering at the intersection of technology, creativity, and culture.
“Today, the Tāmaki Makaurau-based studio is home to a roster of multi-disciplinary staff including developers, designers, illustrators, animators, creatives, producers, and a driven client service team.
“I’m incredibly proud of what we are building here at Daylight. Both in terms of the work itself and the culture which creates it.
“It’s dazzling to watch Lee and Charlie lead and absorb their vision for Daylight.”
“It’s dazzling to watch Lee and Charlie lead and absorb their vision for Daylight.
“Their care, craft, and creativity, allied to our emphasis on culture and technology feels like something singular, and certainly completely differentiated within this market.”
Lowndes and Godinet initially met at Colenso BBDO. Daylight’s senior leadership team also includes managing partner Lizzie Robson, who leads the studio’s digital offering, as well as client services director Kristen Morris.
Lowndes said: “It’s been such a journey watching Daylight grow. I’m so incredibly proud of the culture we’ve created and the work we’ve delivered so far.
“Our team brings a special energy to the table every single day and I’m really excited to push that potential even further stepping into this role. Doing things differently takes guts, especially being the new kid in town, so I can’t thank our incredible partners enough for believing in us.”
Godinet: “When you’re head down building something, you don’t often take stock of what you’ve achieved – there’s always the next thing. This has been a great opportunity to do that – to really assess how far we’ve come in such a short time, and to reset and go again.”
