AUCKLAND, Today: Tired of the same old white bread? Freya’s and DDB Group Aotearoa are mixing it up with their latest move, Variety is Good.
Dive into their TV ad and meet Janice and Steve, who are living in a world of bread boredom until Steve suggests that maybe some Roggenbrot Dark Rye may just be the answer.
Jesper Poulsen at Goodman Fielder points out, “While Freya’s offer a variety of options, the problem is that many New Zealanders remain loyal to traditional white bread, missing out on the opportunity to explore new flavours.” He believes in breaking bread boundaries.
“While Freya’s offer a variety of options, the problem is that many New Zealanders remain loyal to traditional white bread, missing out on the opportunity to explore new flavours.”
He also shares, “Recognising the parallel between our bread choices and the routines of our everyday lives, we take Freya’s European inspiration and inject a little excitement into the mundane.”
Freddie Coltart from DDB hints at an adventurous approach: “Start small by changing from your usual boring bread to Soya Linseed, then maybe Tuscan Mixed Grain, and in a couple of months you won’t even recognise yourself! In terms of bread preferences…”
Variety is Good is now popping up on TV, online, billboards, and supermarkets all over. It’s time to rethink your bread choices!
