AUCKLAND, Tuesday: Sadly, we have to report that Marcel de Ruiter, a long-time production/studio director at DDB, passed away last week. His funeral was to be held this week – and the agency hopes to provide more details soon.
Former colleague Steve Longhurst said: “Marcel was a big guy with a big heart, loved by many. Too soon and too young, I’m afraid.
“It would be really nice to acknowledge his contribution to adland – which goes back to the early ’90s, and possibly earlier.”
