AUCKLAND, Today: Doritos is shaking up the afternoon routine with their latest limited edition, Doritos Coffee—a bold new chip flavour designed to beat the 3pm slump in New Zealand.
With coffee shops often closed by mid-afternoon, Kiwis can now satisfy both snack cravings and coffee urges with one tasty treat. The bold, aromatic coffee flavour mixed with the iconic Doritos crunch creates the ultimate afternoon pick-me-up.
Catherine McLaren, Marketing Manager at Doritos, shared, “We know how much Kiwis love their coffee and are often looking for a mid-afternoon pick me up. Enter our latest flavour, Doritos Coffee.
“We loved seeing the reactions of chip fans and coffee aficionados as they tried the very first batch,” Catherine added.

Doritos Coffee wasn’t available for purchase, but fans could score a pack through a 5-day giveaway on Doritos ANZ’s Facebook and TikTok pages.
On August 22nd, Aucklanders had a chance to try the new flavour straight from the Doritos Coffee Truck at Commercial Bay’s One Queen Street. The event was a Mango Communications NZ activation and kicked off at 3pm, with limited-edition packs available while stocks lasted.
Additionally, Kiwis could bid on special packs through a charity auction, with proceeds going to The Rising Foundation, a charity supporting young adults in South Auckland.
The auction ran from August 20th to 27th, offering the top bidder the exclusive packs #1 and #500. PepsiCo NZ has long been a supporter of The Rising Foundation.
