Fresh on the news that New Zealanders love the Toyota possum commercials, Saatchi & Saatchi have released two more television spots. The Toyota possums topped the Colmar Brunton M+AD TVC Top 10 for July.
“Who could possibly know more about New Zealand roads than possums? That was our thought when we sat down to create a long-term retail platform for Toyota”, says Jordan Sky, Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi. “It’s great to know everyone’s enjoying the latest instalment.”
“It’s been running for 18 months now and the characters just keep giving us endless opportunities for Kiwi humour to shine through” adds Sky.
Dave-O and Steve-O are two furry and devoted Toyota fanatics who live in a tree directly across the road from a dealership. From here they spy all the latest and greatest deals Toyota have on offer.
Created by Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, ‘The Real Road Experts’ add a little cheeky charm to Toyota’s Retail offering – creating a memorable on-going platform.
