The highly regarded UK-based Gunn report has listed FCB’s SPCA/MINI Driving Dogs campaign as the 15th best work in non-traditional advertising.

The All Gunns Blazing Gallery report, which arrived today – does not specify if this ranking is for the past year, or longer. But as it lists Driving Dogs as a 2013 entry, we believe the list may cover the past 10 years.

“The All Gunns Blazing Gallery is the name for what the award shows variously call Non-Traditional, Avante Garde, Innovative, Titanium et al,” says founder Donald Gunn. “It also takes in the top winners in categories like Branded Content and Entertainment, Promo and Activation, PR, Direct and even ambient Outdoor. As a definition, does New Media/Non-Media do the trick?

“There seem to be two main tendencies of work in All Gunns Blazing, from what we’ve seen so far,” he says. Technology and Digital-led, andOut of Home Installations, Happenings, Experiments and Stunts (some involving a Hoax to add spice).

“This playlist presents a selection of 20 representing the latter of these two genres.  Typically, this second lot are breakthrough creative achievements that not only captivate crowds, but engender social media buzz and sharing, and are often a hot item on local and even international news.  For each one we provide a key visual, a written description of the idea and execution, and a play button to view the entry video.”
