AUCKLAND, Today: New Zealand-owned creative agency Federation has announced the appointment of two new managing partners.
Former FCB GM Elizabeth Beatty joins in one of two newly created managing partner roles and Olly Boden is promoted from group business director to managing partner.
Federation ceo Sharon Henderson said: “The agency is going through an exciting period of change and is now ready to bolster its leadership team with a structure that hails in a new era of growth and capability.
“We’re delighted to have someone with Elizabeth’s track record as a business and agency leader joining the team.
“Elizabeth has more than 15 years’ experience in leading agencies and client business across a number of industry sectors. She is a super-strategic head and an expert in brand, technology, digital and direct marketing.”
Boden joined Federation in 2018 from Colenso BBDO where he led the BNZ account.

“Originally from the UK, Olly brings significant international market knowledge to our team and over the past couple of years has proven himself as a key business partner,” said Henderson.

Boden said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the leadership team, and look forward to partnering with Elizabeth. Federation is in great shape. With a number of new business wins, some notable award successes and a brilliant new office space, 2020 has already kicked off to a great start.”
Beatty joins the agency from the client-side role of marketing director, NZ, Australia and US with tech company Mobile Mentor. Prior to that, she was General Manager of FCB NZ and head of OgilvyOne in Sydney.
In her new role, Beatty will focus on growing current client successes, both existing and new, and will also be responsible for Trans-Tasman business growth.
