Five more Kiwis on Cannes shortlists

CANNES, last night: A further five New Zealand campaigns – from VMLY&R (x2), FCB (x2), Assembly, Augusto, and Colenso – have made Lions shortlists.

  • VMLY&R is a Media category finalist for Trade Me R.I.P. Simon (with Fish, Kaleidoscope, and MBM).
  • And FCB has been shortlisted in Media for Ministry of Social Development/Office for Seniors Undercover Crosswords (sub-category Use of Print/Outdoor).
  • Augusto’s #GetNZonthemap for Tourism NZ is the only Kiwi shop shortlisted for the Social & Influencer Lions.
  • Colenso’s I’m Drinking It For You is the only NZ campaign shortlisted in the Creative Strategy Lions category. This campaign also won a Film Craft Bronze (see earlier story).
  • VMLY&R is one of two Kiwi finalists in the Direct Lions – the other being FCB/Assembly. VMLY&R is there for Trade Me R.I.P Simon; while FCB and Assembly are shortlisted for Ministry of Education Oat the Goat.
