LAS VEGAS, Today: Auckland audio specialist Franklin Rd were last night named the ANZ Regional Music & Sound Company of the Year at the London International Awards 2019; Colenso BBDO scored one Gold and two Bronzes (all for Spark).
Franklin Rd regional title came for three Colenso/Spark projects – Spark Kupu, Wedding Speech and Generation Voice.
Franklin Rd director Jonathan Mihaljevich said: “We’re chuffed to be acknowledged with this most unexpected award.
“It’s a stunning piece and I’d happily wear it around my neck if it wasn’t so heavy. Cheers and congratulations to Colenso and thanks to the LIA team.”

Colenso’s Gold came in TV/Cinema/Online Film category for Spark Generation Voice. The agency’s two Bronzes came in Integration/Business-to-Consumer for Spark Kupu; and in TV/Cinema/Online Film for Spark Wedding Speech.
These wins contributed to BBDO being named Regional Network of the Year for Australia and New Zealand
In total, 531 LIA statues and 196 Finalists were awarded from 39 countries.
