AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Public relations professionals, academics and students from across the world will be heading to NZ for the 11th World Public Relations Forum to be held in October 2020.
The Global Alliance for PR & Communication Management has announced that the PR Institute of NZ (Prinz) has won the bid to host their next forum.
Global Alliance chair Jose Manuel Velasco, who’s based in Madrid, said: “What drew us to New Zealand was the country being a melting pot of creativity, diversity and a solid ethical culture – and a compelling bid from Prinz.
“We feel that New Zealand does well to combine innovation and tradition and we are looking forward to inspire and to encourage the PR profession. WPRF2020 will challenge communicators to think ahead as well as reflect back on their practice.”
“The theme is Connecting with Courage. It runs in Auckland 12 October to 15 October 2020.”
Prinz ceo Elaine Koller said: “We are delighted to have won this bid. There is a strong community of communicators here and together we are looking forward to creating an engaging forum and embracing our international visitors with the manaakitanga that New Zealanders are famous for.”
