WAIKANAE, Today: Long-serving NZ rock & showbiz promoter Stewart Macpherson is looking for advertisers to support the UK production of American Idiot:The Musical by Green Day his company, Stetson, is bringing to Auckland in October.

“This show is doing huge business in the UK at present,” Macpherson says. “I’m keen to find if there are any advertisers who would like to associate product with it.”
American Idiot is a sung-through rock musical based on the 2004 concept album of the same name by punk rock band Green Day.
The musical won two Tony Awards: Best Scenic Design of a Musical and Best Lighting Design of a Musical. It also received a nomination for Best Musical. In 2011, its Broadway cast recording won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.
Macpherson is a respected promoter who has been bringing hit music of all genres to NZ for decades – including Jethro Tull, Tower of Power, Flashdance, Beach Boys, Spandau Ballet, and the Irish Rovers.
