GSL Promotus has leveraged the Health Promotion Agency’s nasty Stop Before You Start man-cigarette to produce an interactive Phantom street poster that’s diverting passers-by in Auckland on Shortland St, Symonds St, and Dominion Rd; and in Wellington on Dixon St, Cambridge Tce, and Cuba St.
The posters feature an oversize red Valentine’s Day card with the words ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ on the cover, along with an invitation to open it. This action releases a mechanism that holds the card shut – it then springs open to reveal a lurking human-cigarette holding a bunch of red roses.
The concept was GSL’s and Phantom were responsible for the fabrication and construction of the cards.
