The 54th annual Kinsale Shark Awards, held in the picturesque town of Kinsale, just outside of Cork, Ireland, has appointed Kiwi creative Maggie Mouat as a member of its Press jury. Mouat is ceo of Wellington indie agency Luvly.
In Ireland, Mouat (who, in a previous life, was an art director at Saatchi Wellington) will report to this year’s president & overall jury chair Susan Hoffman, the global ECD of Wieden+Kennedy Portland.
The awards run from Thursday 22 September to Saturday 24 September.
The Kinsale Shark Awards focus is “unconditional creativity”, and covers writing, humour, artiste’s performance and “post production colourists”, plus craft sections, and music & sound categories.
A total of 40 judges – from Australia, Austria, China, France, India, Italy, New Zealand, the Netherlands, UK and USA – will sit across nine juries. All will arrive in Kinsale on festival week to judge the entries.
