AUCKLAND, Today: oOh! & Shout’s Poster Boys won top prizes at last night’s Battle of the Ad Bands 2023, held at Galatos Auckland.
The Comms Council’s Ashley Van Straalen said: “The music was pulsating at the 14th annual Battle of the Ad Bands, hosted by Flying Fish & the Comms Council.
“While the judging panel – comprising Steve Dunstan (founder of Huffer), Daniel Barnes, (founder of The Future Is Unwritten), and ASB Classic events manager Tracy Magan – were thoroughly impressed by the outstanding performances, one band emerged as the ultimate victors – The Poster Boys.
“With a captivating setlist that blended hits like Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm, Wild Child by The Black Keys, Elephant by Tame Impala, Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz, Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, and Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People, The Poster Boys had the audience rocking throughout their performance.
